The 2nd International Conference on Global Warming and the Next Ice Age

Los Alamos National Laboratory
ALSO: Aerosol Workshop on Climate Prediction Uncertainties Santa Fe, New Mexico, July 20-21, 2006 Sponsored by the Los Alamos National Laboratory/Center for Space Science and Exploration Co-Sponsored by: American Meteorological Society, University of Washington This conference and workshop will focus on drivers and regulators of climate change and variability other than greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gas effects on climate have been much more thoroughly investigated and are assessed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Our goal is to provide a scientific perspective on the changes associated with other climate forcings and feedbacks that are more uncertain. Papers on both changes and rates of changes from both anthropogenic activities and natural processes not directly associated with greenhouse gas forcing are solicited. Submitted papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the JGR-Atmosphere. You should be able to follow the Conference/Workshop progress and find some useful information on http://aerosols.lanl.gov/conf2006/ Place: Courtyard by Marriott, Santa Fe Abstract Submission Deadline: May 19, 2006
