An early version of the mini-LHR was field tested at the NOAA WLEF tall tower site in Park Falls, Wisconsin in September 2012. https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/hats/stations/lef.html At this site, CO2 is continuously monitored at six heights on the 447-meter tower. Also at this site, CO2 is measured in the atmospheric column with the Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) instrument of TCCON (Total Column Carbon Observing Network). In addition, a collaboration with NOAA's Carbon Cycle Greenhouse Gases (CCGG) Group, provided a comparison with aircraft flask sampling measurements that were timed to our data collection. An early scan from this effort is in Wilson et al., 2019: Instruments Miniaturized Laser Heterodyne Radiometer (Mini-LHR) Ground Instrument
