FireSense is a NASA program to study wildfires (put FireSense URL here). SLAP participated in the first FireSense campaign in September and October 2023. This campaign focused on 4 use cases: pre-fire fuel conditions, active fire dynamics, post-fire impacts, and air quality forecasting. SLAP observations spanned sites corresponding to pre-fire (Colorado, California) and post-fire (Canada) conditions. https://cce.nasa.gov/firesense/ Date Name Take-off Time Take-off Airport Landing Time Landing Airport Target Site Note Sep 25, 2023 SF01 8:30 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD 11:15 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD Sedgwick Image Sep 27, 2023 SF02 7:30 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD 9:30 PDT (UTC-7) KSBA Sedgwick Image Sep 27, 2023 SF03 12:00 PDT (UTC-7) KSBA 14:35 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD Sedgwick Image Sep 28, 2023 SF04 8:30 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD 11:00 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD Sedgwick Image Oct 2, 2023 SF05 7:30 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD 10:15 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD Sedgwick Image Oct 5, 2023 SF06 6:30 PDT (UTC-7) KPMD 8:45 PDT (UTC-7) KNUQ Carmel Valley Image Oct 5, 2023 SF07 10:20 PDT (UTC-7) KNUQ 12:25 PDT (UTC-7) KNUQ Pepperwood Image Oct 16, 2023 SF08 8:20 CDT (UTC-5) KMOT 11:40 CDT (UTC-5) CYXE Image Oct 16, 2023 SF09 13:30 CDT (UTC-5) CYXE 16:40 CDT (UTC-5) KMOT Image Instruments SLAP Instrument
