"High-Resolution Soil Moisture—a European Airborne Campaign Using NASA Goddard’s Scanning L-Band Active Passive (SLAP)," which describes the results from SLAP collected during the Land surface Interactions with the Atmosphere over the Iberian Semi-arid Environment (LIAISE) field campaign, has been published in the journal of Remote Sensing in Earth Systems Sciences.

In June, SLAP flew as a part of the inaugural year of the Student Airborne Research Program’s East Coast program (SARP East), where students joined us on research flights over southeastern Virginia. The SLAP team flew with and advised the students as they used the data they collected on the aircraft and on the ground throughout the summer to complete their projects.
